Is the New York Real Estate Pre-Licensing Exam Proctored?
Unlike many other states, the state of New York requires that your pre-licensing course final course exam be proctored. You’ll need to schedule an appointment with an in-person proctor in advance.
A proctored exam is an examination that is administered by an impartial individual ( known as a proctor ) who oversees the entire testing process to ensure the validity and integrity of the results.
After you pass the pre-licensing course final exam you and your proctor will need to sign an affidavit verifying your identity as the person who completed the course and exam.
